LiveView contract win … West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue

Following CCTV installations at the new Service Delivery Centre and a driver training vehicle, LiveView has won a contract to retrofit recorders and cameras onto the 100 vehicle fleet at West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue (WYFR). LiveView will replace outdated and unreliable equipment with new SerVision MVG-400 recorders and Wide Dynamic Range microdome cameras. Subject to successful negotiations the hope is that this equipment will also become standard for new vehicles entering the fleet.

After successful pilot installations with 2 and 4 camera recorders WYFR decided to go forward with SerVision’s ruggedized 4-camera recorders and 500GB hard drives. This ensures high resolution video can be stored for several weeks. Wide Dynamic Range cameras were selected for their superior image quality in vehicle driving conditions and LiveView relay units indicating when blue and brake lights are on with text overlays in the recorded video.

LiveView contract win … Controline

LiveView are pleased to be working on a prestigious, hi-tech project with Electrical Automation experts Controline. Controline approached LiveView to help with the specification of CCTV cameras to manage the production of cold drawn wire on a multi-million pound automation project for Bekaert CDP. The new facility is to be installed with 22 Mobotix 6MP lenses with LiveView responsible for supply and commissioning.

Requiring the highest resolution images possible LiveView selected Mobotix S15 FlexMount solution with a variety of different lens sizes. Operators will be able to keep a close watch on the fully automated line from a central control cabinet ensuring the product quality meets exacting standards.

The selected S15 camera is a compact unit and all lenses will be the very latest 6MP for the highest video resolution and high quality images. The installation is, in fact, one of the first to use the latest 6MP lenses in the UK. Each will be housed in a weatherproof PTMount, a discrete, dome-shaped mount that is adjustable in three directions so that it is always possible to find the exact position.
